Explore two signature Central Pacific ecosystems in one shore excursion. Walk a selected trail in official Carara National Park, where dry and humid Pacific forests meet, then cruise the Tárcoles River and mangroves in search of American crocodiles and tropical birds. Scarlet macaws, monkeys and other wildlife may be seen, but all animals are wild and sightings vary. Short fruit, coffee, restaurant and Puntarenas stops round out the route. Carara admission and the boat safari are confirmed before final booking; their order may reverse because of entry slots, boat departures, heat, rain, traffic or ship timing. Ziplining takes place at a separate private adventure operator and is offered through the dedicated zipline tour, not as part of this excursion.
